As a Shift Leader you will play a vital role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. You will be responsible for leading a team, managing workflow, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will report directly to our Operations Manager and you’ll work out of our Trieste location on a shift work schedule. In this role, you will impact operational efficiency and team performance, fostering a culture of safety and accountability. Your leadership will contribute to achieving production targets and enhancing overall team dynamics.
As a Production Shift leader you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance in our integrated supply chain team. You will be accountable for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the production line. This role includes people management, ensuring adherence to production schedules, maintaining quality control, and optimizing production efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily production operations to meet production schedules and quality standards.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Monitor production processes and implement improvements to optimize efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality protocols.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and production areas to maintain a safe working environment.
- Address production issues and provide timely solutions to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to production metrics and personnel performance.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure product quality and adherence to specifications.
- Understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
- Leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to improve productivity.
We value:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing
- Previous experience in People management
